Guilded Lynx to Remain Closed, Rhino and 3D Printing for Jewelry Making via Zoom

I have pondered long and hard over how to go forward with the studio. Sadly I have finally reached the conclusion that I cannot host any classes for the rest of this year. All Fall classes will be canceled. If I thought that there was any way that I could provide a completely safe and germ-free environment I would not have made this decision. But the risk of infection is too great and the protocols for social distancing are too restrictive.

Having said that, however, I am happy to let you know that Steven Parker has decided to offer a workshop via Zoom on Rhino and 3D Printing for Jewelry Making. We tried a short sample workshop a couple of weeks ago and it was a success so we thought we would go for it! Since it is a computer design course it particularly lends itself to being taught via Zoom. Both sessions are up on our website so sign up if you are interested! The first session begins May 28. See link below to register.

The studio will stay closed for now. Although I will not be bringing any visiting instructors in for the rest of the year, it is possible that I may be able to host small workshops/private tutorials in the fall or offer bench time to small groups of people if there is interest. In the meantime, Steven Parker and I are considering what else we could teach via Zoom.

If anyone has any suggestions or requests please let me know! Your input is important and will be greatly appreciated! The Guilded Lynx community may have to be apart for now, but we are still a strong, supportive and vibrant community!

Stay well! I will continue to access the situation and I will keep you all posted about what we may be able to do in the coming months. If you have any suggestions or thoughts please let me know! The easiest way to reach me is via email at Lessley_99@msn.com.
