The Ridgefield Thrift Shop (RTS) just announced that beginning this month, they will be hosting their first online auction with Auction Ninja.
The Thrift Shop explains, "The buyers premium is very low at 2% (vs 18%+ for most online auctions) and is only to cover the costs associated with the software. Please make sure to read all the auction details and special instructions for the pickup window and rules on our link."
RTS Auction Ninja page reads:
Welcome to the Ridgefield Thrift Shop Online Auction. We will be auctioning off many of our wonderful items that are donated to our store. The Ridgefield Thrift Shop is run by volunteers and 100% of all proceeds are donated to local charities in the greater Danbury area.
Please note that all items are sold "AS IS" and we take many pictures so that you can clearly see the condition of each item. We are volunteers, not professional auctioneers, so please exercise patience and kindness working with our RTS members.
Our Mission is to support non-profit local organizations through recycling, re-purposing and reselling generously donated goods and to provide the opportunity to purchase affordable merchandise at our shop. Your shopping helps others!
