Why Small Businesses Matter in Ridgefield (Reimagined): Joy of Movement

Why Small Businesses Matter Reimagined

Small businesses matter - now more than ever. They are answering the call with innovation and determination like never before.

We hope you join us in supporting them by sharing their story far and wide and shopping local! We are thankful to Fairfield County Bank for their continued support and making this series possible.

Three questions with Cheryl Lozach, founder of Joy of Movement.

Are there certain individuals or organizations that supported you and your business through this trying time?

There have been several customers who have helped us keep moving forward, especially with social media. A special shout out to Danielle, Mia, and Anilisa Verilli of Audrey Road for setting up my Instagram! Also, the local dance studios have been supporting us, we wouldn’t be here now if it weren’t for all these wonderful people. We follow all CDC guidelines in our store.

What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?

Our hope is that the community will continue to buy locally. This is truly the difference between whether a store will make it through these trying times or not.

Are you offering any new products, or ways for customers to purchase your products or services that are popular during this crisis?

We are still offering curbside and some vendors will drop ship items. We are trying to put together an online presence and that should help our shop.
