Play a Part, a new creative arts center opened its doors at 5 Danbury Road, the former home of the Tile Shop.
According to the company website, Play a Part is the brainchild of Missy Hanlon, a veteran theater instructor who created educational programs at The Ridgefield Theater Barn for more than a decade.
In addition to offering a host of after-school theatrical classes grouped by grade, this winter, Play a Part is partnering with The Prospector Theater for a digital performance and live streaming of "A Midsummer Night's ZOOM".
Play a Part isn't just for kids! Their website states that Wednesday mid-afternoon is reserved for "Social Senior Citz" where senior citizens are invited to film scenes, songs, and TikTok videos using green screen special effects under the guidance of our talented staff.
