Why did you start your business?
We began the Ridgefield Office Center to provide the Ridgefield community with the option of well-located, individual private offices, with flexible lease terms and good parking. We are now the largest provider of individual private offices in Ridgefield. Ridgefield Office Center began with The Ridgefield Health and Wellness Center 5 years ago, an office center geared towards the healing professions. We have since expanded with the addition of 100B Danbury Road, 105 Danbury Road, and The Offices at The Marketplace at Copps Hill and Big Shop Lane to reach a broader range of businesses.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
As a local business, we recognize and honor the concept of shopping locally. Our go-to businesses include Squash’s Office Supply, Ridgefield Hardware, and Ridgefield Supply. In order to support the Ridgefield restaurant community, we purchased several thousand dollars in gift cards for holiday distribution as well as 140 gift baskets from 109 Cheese and Wine Shoppe. Ridgefield Office Center promotes our local restaurants with business to business promotion to our tenants.
Have you "reimagined" your small business?
At the onset of the pandemic, we quickly deployed enhanced cleaning procedures and changed our HVAC filters to Merv 13. In addition, we keep all of our tenants current with the latest local, State, and Federal health and financial assistance directives.
