In-Person Classes Return to the Guild of Artists

Ridgefield Guild of Artists is pleased to announce that after a year of the pandemic, “We are back with in-person classes! It will be great to have our artists, big and small, and all their energy, back at the Guild!” said Pam Stoddart, Executive Director.  “Classes begin in April with a little something for everyone.”

Our teachers are being vaccinated and all state safety rules still apply, such as masking and social distancing.  Classes will be outside under the “big tent” and moved into the large studio during inclement weather.  Class sizes are limited for adequate spacing, so act fast!

Adult offerings include: Monotype and Intaglio printmaking with Tony Kirk; Realism to Abstraction in Landscape with Randi Jane Davis; Watercolor Painting with Cindy Delaney; plus, two on-line classes, Painting Essentials with Sam Morrow, and Loosen Up! with Souby Boski.

For the kids: Laura McCormick is back with Art Exploration for elementary and middle school students, and Jesse Navarro has returned with the ever-popular Cartooning/Illustration for elementary, middle and high school students.

“We hope to continue to add classes and be back with our full schedule by the fall,” said Pam Stoddart.  Visit the Guild website at www.rgoa.org, for full details and registration.  Any further questions or suggestions for class ideas? Call 203.438.8863 or email director.rgoa@gmail.com

Ridgefield Guild of Artists is located in a 100+ year old barn at 34 Halpin Lane.  RGOA is a tax-exempt 501c3 arts organization established in 1974 with a current membership of 300 members. Any contributions are gratefully accepted and support of the arts is essential, especially these days.
