Registration Open for Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield Summer Camp

With the sun shining and the start of warmer weather, the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield is excited to announce that their Summer Camp registration is OPEN! Their 8-week Summer Camp will run from June 21st to August 13^th, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Full Summer Camp Option and Weekly Summer Camp Options are both available. Activities include structured games, arts and crafts, swimming, water play, sports and more!

Each themed week will have a maximum number of participants, so space is limited and filling fast!

Summer Camp Weeks/Themes include:

•        Olympic Week 1: June 21st – June 25th
•        Water Week 2: June 28th - July 2nd
•        Spirit Week 3: July 6th - July 9th (CLUB CLOSED JULY 5TH)
•        Carnival Week 4: July 12th - July 16th
•        Science Week 5: July 19th - July 23rd
•        Foodmania Week 6: July 26th - July 30th
•        All-Star Week 7: August 2nd - August 6th
•        Camp Classics Week 8: August 9th - August 13^th

Every professional staff and summer camp counselor at the Boys & Girls Club is certified in CPR/First Aid/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Additionally, every professional staff, summer camp counselor and volunteer goes through pre-summer training (CPR/first aid, abuse/neglect, child safety, proper conduct, policies & procedures, roles & responsibilities, leadership & supervision). 95% of the Club’s summer camp counselors have come from the Club environment and have participated in their character and leadership programs.
