Today was not just any day for The Prospector Theater! The Theater was featured on Sunday Today with Willie Geist!
The segment opened with host Willie Geist saying, "For my money, there is not a better place to watch a movie and to meet the staff than at the extraordinary theater Harry Smith visited for our Sunday spotlight."
Enter The Prospector Theater in Ridgefield. A non-profit movie theater dedicated to providing competitive and integrated employment to people with disabilities through the operation of a premium, first-run movie theater.
Correspondent Harry Smith steps inside the theater and interviews many of the Prospects and of course, founder and visionary Valerie Jensen who is shown clad with large butterflies on her calves - symbolic of the world, emerging from a COVID cocoon.
