Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe Purchases Historical Main Street Building, Plans to Renovate and Relocate!

Last night, we posted about Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe plans to relocate to 409 Main Street sometime in 2022. This is the building that once housed Mr Shane's Ice Cream, the recipes that still live on at Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe! It's the circle of homemade sweetness!

Today, Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe provided an update. Please read below keep shopping LOCAL!

After nearly a year in the making, we can finally share that we have purchased the building at 409 Main Street and plan to relocate the Sweet Shoppe there sometime next year.

Originally built in 1880, the former Jesse Lee parsonage (and former home of Mr. Shane’s) needs a lot of sprucing up! We look forward to working with our architects and builders to renovate and update the building and make it accessible for all. We love Ridgefield and Main Street and are so excited to bring new life to this wonderful building.

Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement now and over the past 23 years! We will keep you posted on our progress.

We are so proud of you Deb and Mike! You both persevered during COVID, innovating your business in so many ways including incorporating a pick up window, online ordering and delivery. Congratulations on this milestone!
