Breaking News from Boys & Girls Club of America's National Keystone Virtual Conference!
We are beyond excited to announce that tonight our very own Ridgefield Tigers Keystone Club was named the NATIONAL KEYSTONE CLUB OF THE YEAR! There are not enough words to express how proud we are of them - especially as this award was presented to them for their exemplary work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our Keystoners (and all of our Club members) truly demonstrated their strength and resilience and were challenged in ways that many adults had a hard time dealing with, and yet, they continued to shine. They are truly deserving of this award!
But, in true Keystone fashion, the good news doesn't stop there! Annually, at the conference Boys & Girls Clubs of America presents 7 programmatic awards to Keystone Clubs who are doing amazing work (all 4,800 Clubs are eligible for these awards.) And, we are so thrilled to announce our Ridgefield Tigers Keystone Club won first place in the Career Preparation category and was a top-three finalist in the core areas of Teen Outreach and National Project: Emotional Wellness! We could not be more proud of them!!
This is the second time our Keystone Club has been named National Keystone Club of the Year - they also won in 2012! In total, since 2011 our Ridgefield Tigers Keystone Club has won 17 National Awards from Boys & Girls Club of America. We are honored, we are proud and we are grateful to work with such amazing teens year after year! #ridgefieldtigerskeystoneclub
