Guild of Artists Offers a Full Fall Schedule for Adults and Children

Ridgefield Guild of Artists is back to a full array of classes for fall, beginning this month, for students of all ages and artistic abilities.

For adults, the Guild offers in-person classes in still life oil painting, monoprint and intaglio printmaking, realism to abstraction in landscape painting, and watercolor painting.  There is also an online “loosen up” painting course.  Younger artists can enjoy printmaking, cartooning and art exploration at in-person classes after school with sessions for elementary, middle school and high school students.

Besides everyone having a great creative experience, safety in the classroom is the Guild’s highest priority.  All teachers are vaccinated and anyone 12 or older must be vaccinated to participate.  Class sizes are small and everyone is required to wear a mask indoors.  Please review the entire new safety policy on the RGOA website before signing up.

Visit www.rgoa.org for full descriptions and to register for classes and workshops for fall of ’21, along with information about all Guild offerings and exhibitions.  Please call 203.438.8863 or email director.rgoa@gmail.com with any questions.  But hurry, some classes are filling up!

Ridgefield Guild of Artists is a 47-year-old 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization, housed in an antique barn, located at 34 Halpin Lane at the bottom of the hill before the town’s rail trail.  All donations are much appreciated.
