Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT RKR - Ridgefield Kitchen Revival!
Three questions with Donna Cheftel, founder of RKR - Ridgefield Kitchen Revival.
Why did you start your business?
I started this business because I am a decorative painter and after getting some calls to paint kitchen cabinets, I noticed that there could be a niche in the market for concentrating on this particular service. Many homes in this area have wooden cabinets that are dark and painting them a lighter color brightens the whole kitchen and updates and freshens the whole look!
What is your best-selling product/service?
Our best selling service is painting kitchen cabinets of course but we also paint furniture and have many different techniques and products that we use to transform any piece... visit our website to see what we can offer you!
The local business we support is Ring's End in Wilton (where I buy most of my supplies) and Keough's Paint and Hardware in Ridgefield. I get my coffee at Tusk and Cup in Ridgefield, and refer people for backsplash and countertops to La Pietra in Ridgefield!
Donna would like to nominate La Pietra in Ridgefield to be featured next!
