Fingers crossed (toes too) that Jaipore Xpress will finally OPEN on Bailey Ave!
Roshan Balan, who, together with Jeevan Pullan, is opening Jaipore Xpress at 19 Bailey Ave, said tonight, "We are anticipating that the Department officials will give us the final walkthrough on Friday and if all looks OK to them, we should be able to get going with take-out by Monday!
While the restaurant will focus on takeout, we were told that there will be a few seats inside as well. With the current health climate a fluid situation, Balan says that initially, “It could be just a soft opening with just take out and delivery.”
With a sister location in Brewster - "Jaipore" - Ridgefield will be home to the "Xpress" version. "The menu will be a bit different," said Pullan. In addition to Indian classics like Tikka Masala, Pullan wants to introduce Ridgefield to some unique tastes of India. You can check out the Brewster location online here.
