One of the greatest lingerie shops in the world is right here in Ridgefield.
Pam Fitzpatrick has owned the Candlelight Shoppe for nearly sixty years and has been nominated by a jury of industry top brands including Cosabella, Chantelle, Hanky Panky (and many more) for the title “Best Lingerie Shop in North America”.
The Best of Intima Awards honors best practices within the independent intimate apparel retail business and will present awards in an array of categories, the most esteemed being “Best Lingerie Shop”.
This is the first time that the Candlelight Shoppe has been nominated. “I can’t tell you how nice it is to be recognized. It’s an honor just to be nominated,” Fitzpatrick humbly says.
Widely known as the best bra-fitter in the area, Pam Fitzpatrick has an eye for lingerie greatness and lucky for us, she stocks the apparel in her downtown Ridgefield shop. “I picked up hanky Panky when no one knew about them, I brought them to Ridgefield in 1981,” she explains.
For more than five decades, Pam has worked with all of the top lingerie brands in the world. “Cosabella, Chantelle... all big names - I deal with all of them and I have been for years, we are going on 60 years in business.”
Pam will head to Tribeca Rooftop in New York City on Sunday, July 31, 2022 where she will be joining fellow nominees and lingerie companies from around the globe. It is during this prestigious evening event that the winners will be announced.
Renowned Italy-based company Oscalito has asked Pam to sit at their table. “This is also an honor,” says Pam.
