Why did you start your business?
Many personal and transitional events occurred in the early 2000s. I married my best friend, we were expecting our first child and we moved to Ridgefield, CT. At that time, I was working in corporate America over 60 miles away, with a heavy travel schedule. We decided it was important that I be near our young children. So I used my years of International Human Resources and corporate relocation experience and transitioned to a Real Estate career in Ridgefield in 2003. As a licensed Realtor, I could work in our community and be close to our young family.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Knowledge and experience. Living in CT for over 25 years and in the tri-state area all of my life, I am well versed in the towns, areas, communities, and what each offers. I can guide my clients on their home search and help sellers alike when they decide to relocate or transition to a new home.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
As an area expert, my clients see me as a valuable resource when they need recommendations for local services such as attorneys, home inspectors, home repairs and renovations, etc. I send thank-you gifts to clients from locally sourced merchants as a way to introduce my clients to their neighborhood businesses. I also hire locally for my photography and staging services. I advertise regularly in our local newspaper.
