Why did you start your business?
Our Journey began with a simple idea: to provide dogs and their owners with the very best in healthy and delicious treats. As pet lovers, we knew that we wanted to create a company that was dedicated to making dogs happy and healthy, and that's how Treats Pupperia was born. From the very beginning, we knew that we wanted to do things differently. We wanted to create a company that was built on a foundation of quality, innovation, and responsibility. We started by sourcing the best ingredients we could find, working with local suppliers and distributors to ensure that our treats were made from natural and wholesome ingredients, without any added preservatives or artificial flavors. No wheat. No grain. Everything is made in the USA. We wanted to make sure that our treats were not only healthy but delicious as well. Dehydrated. Freeze Dried. Organic or all-natural. We worked tirelessly to source unique and tasty recipes that would appeal to even the pickiest of eaters. Representing handmade and eco-friendly accessories, veteran and woman-owned businesses. We are proud to say that as lifetime residents, our concept and vision was inspired directly in the heart of Ridgefield Connecticut. For dogs and dog walkers alike, Ridgefield’s downtown Main street has always been something of luck - giving walks a true sense of purpose and desire, almost as if they’ve been fortunate to make it the end of the rainbow…As they stroll together throughout the village shops, restaurants, and parks – reward can be found at our newly established treats PUPPERIA, located at 17 Catoonah Street. From our watering hole to our treat bar, our doggie café will have the mutts pawwing. Humans Welcome.
Our CBD supplement line has been one of our biggest sellers. We’re all about a holistic approach to healing. Made with CBD from organic hemp, this formula can be used to treat a particular complaint or as a daily wellness supplement.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
We partnered up with multiple local vendors including Get Joy in Norwalk! Their meals, products are prepared with love and purpose. We are grateful for our veterinary nutrition and recipe formulation partners at Veterinary Nutritional Consultation (VetNutrition.com). The VNC team -- made up of ACVN Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionists® -- helped us formulate these wholesome recipes to be compliant with AAFCO nutrient profiles and, ultimately, bring joy. We also are looking to hold adoption events for local shelters, we are also sponsors for ROAR!
