“League Night” Helps Shoppers Hit a Home Run

Charity Fundraiser for Youth Sports Organizations

Three local merchants will host a last-minute shopping fundraiser to support local youth sports organizations. On Friday, December 19 from 5-8 pm, The Guilded Lynx, Nancy O’s & Watershed Gallery will present “League Night” – a shopping event in which 10% of each purchase will be donated to the Ridgefield youth sports league of the customer’s choice. The event will be held at Watershed Gallery.

“The youth sports leagues in Ridgefield are an important part of this community,” says Jennifer Mathy, director of Watershed Gallery. “This is an easy way for fans and friends of youth baseball, basketball, football, hockey, lacrosse or soccer to give back.”

The Guilded Lynx will be selling fine artisan jewelry and metalwork from artists who work at their studios on Main Street. Nancy O’s will be bringing a selection of fashion and accessories made by artists from around the country with an emphasis on handmade, natural-fiber items. Watershed Gallery’s will have small pieces created by a variety of local and international artists for their Small Wonders of the World exhibition.
