All Registered Democrats in the Town of Ridgefield Are Invited to Attend and Vote
The nominating caucus for the Ridgefield Democratic Registrar of Voters and the State Representative for the 111th General Assembly District will be held at 7:00 pm on May 24 in the lower level conference room at Ridgefield Town Hall. All registered Democrats are invited to attend and vote at 7:00 pm for Registrar and 7:30 pm for State Representative.
First Selectman Rudy Marconi and Board of Finance Vice Chair Jessica Mancini will deliver remarks. Attendees will include members of the Ridgefield High School Young Democrats Club, the student organizer of the National School Walkout for Gun Safety, business owners and town residents. Refreshments will be served.
According to DTC Chair Alex Harris, who notes that Ridgefield delegations have been or will be attending nominating conventions for the 4th Congressional District, the Democratic State Convention and the 26th State Senate District, excitement is building around the November 2018 election. “We may be heading into summer, but we are already working at the local level to elect Democrats who will not only represent the interests of their constituents and provide a direct link to government, but will also bring fresh perspectives and a passion that will benefit Ridgefield and the state into the future.”
