Ridgefield Welcomes Will Haskell, Democratic Candidate for the 26th State Senate District

On a Sunday afternoon at the home of Ellen and Murray Darvick, Ridgefield Democrats welcomed Will Haskell, Democratic Candidate for the 26th State Senate District, who spoke about the challenges and opportunities facing Connecticut and his plans to address them in Hartford.

The host committee for this well-attended event included Ridgefield First Selectman Rudy Marconi, Temi Bova, Susan Cocco, Max Cumming, Ellen Darvick, Carina Drake, Jessica Mancini and Joe Shapiro.

The event also featured presentation of a proclamation by First Selectman Marconi to commend the Ridgefield High School student leaders – Lane Murdock, Josh Burns, Annie Colao, Max Cumming, Joanna Gengo, Grace Girvalo, Paul Kim, Emma Langis, Tom Vilinskis, Grant Yaun – who organized the April 20 student walkout to protest the serious issue of gun violence in this country, noting that their efforts demonstrated grit, character and the courage of their convictions.
