Wendy Lionetti is Ridgefield's New Town Clerk

Welcome new Town of Ridgefield Clerk, Wendy Lionetti! Lionetti, who will fill the vacancy left by longtime Clerk Barbara Serfilippi, will begin her role on September 4.

"I'll be serving [the Town of Ridgefield] in a new way, and that's exciting," said Lionetti.

Lionetti has served the Town of Ridgefield for fifteen years, fourteen as Administrator to First Selectman, Rudy Marconi, and one year working in the Town Assessor's office. She has been steadfast in her role as Administrator to Marconi, serving with both enthusiasm and aptitude. "He [First Selectman, Rudy Marconi] is very supportive of me and is thinking about what's best for the town," she says.

Since Town Clerk is an elected position, Lionetti will need to run in the November elections.

Her role as Town Clerk will not stop Lionetti from her philanthropic work. She says she will continue to volunteer her time and service to SPHERE where she created the SPHERE-It Creations several years ago and holds weekly workshops where she shares her love of beading and creating jewelry with SPHERE members.
