CHAT WITH RUDY event to be held on September 28th
On Saturday, September 28th, First Selectman Rudy Marconi will host a “Chat with Rudy” event from 12 -3 pm at the DTC Headquarters on Main Street. The First Selectman will speak about his re-election campaign and talk with constituents about “Why They Love Ridgefield.” This will be an informal opportunity for community members to chat one-on-one with Rudy and ask questions about the issues that this campaign spotlights: growth and development, conservation and open space, schools, taxes, the sewer project and traffic routes among others.
Residents are welcome to stop in anytime and enjoy a FREE pizza lunch. Make a modest contribution to Rudy’s campaign and enjoy his gift of an “I Love The Ridge" T-shirt.
About Rudy Marconi
Rudy Marconi was born and raised in Ridgefield. He earned a degree in business administration, and in 1986, returned to Ridgefield to join the family business. Rudy enjoyed two terms on the Planning and Zoning Commission, and then two as a Selectman. He was elected to the First Selectman position in 1997, and has won re-election seven times—either unopposed or by wide margins. Rudy has a daughter, three sons and seven grandchildren. His wife of 36 years, Peggy, is a respected Ridgefield businesswoman and volunteer.
