The below resolution is for the appropriation approved during the 2021 Budget deliberations and then passed at Referendum. Bond Counsel is requesting this notification and Special Town Meeting for confirmation of bonding authorization.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING TOWN OF RIDGEFIELD, CONNECTICUT APRIL 13, 2022

Electors and persons qualified to vote at Town Meetings of the Town of Ridgefield are hereby duly notified and warned that a Special Town Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 7:30 P.M. (E.T.) in the Town Hall, at 400 Main Street, Ridgefield, Connecticut, for the following purposes:

1. To consider and vote upon a resolution entitled “Resolution Making Appropriations Aggregating $2,981,358 For The Planning, Design, Acquisition, Installation And Construction Of Various Board Of Education Projects And Authorizing The Issuance Of $2,981,358 Bonds Of The Town To Meet Said Appropriations And Pending The Issuance Thereof The Making Of Temporary Borrowings For Such Purposes (Provided That The Bonds Shall Be Reduced By The Amount Of Any Eversource Rebates Received For Such Purposes, Which Are Anticipated To Be $30,000 For Led Lighting Upgrades).”

2. To transact any other business proper to come before the meeting. Copies of the proposed bond resolution are on file and open to public inspection at the office of the Town Clerk.
