Come visit Ridgefield Democrats’ free Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 20th from 2-4PM at Democratic Headquarters (22 Catoonah Street, next to the Post Office).
This Back-to-School, outdoor event with ice cream, games and crafts is a perfect place for parents to learn more about the upcoming November election while the kids are enjoying those last sweet days of summer.
Serving up the ice cream will be State Representative Aimee Berger-Girvalo 111th District (Ridgefield), State Senator Julie Kushner, 24th Senate District (now including 50% of Ridgefield) and Candidate for State Representative Keith Denning, 42nd District (portion of southwest Ridgefield). The candidates will gladly talk to voters about the issues and answer questions. Ridgefield’s First Selectman, Rudy Marconi, is also joining the festivities.
Stay a short time. Stay longer. But come and enjoy a scoop and meet your First Selectman, your State Representative Aimee Berger-Girvalo and candidates Julie Kushner and Keith Denning.
