Town of Ridgefield Public Hearing and Special Town Meeting Results

The following were voted on and approved at last night's Special Town Meeting:

1. Proposed Amended Ordinance Chapter §§ 136 (Sections 1-6)Buildings, Demolition of
2. Parking Easement Request for Pound Street.
3. Allocating $66,000 of ARPA funds to fund the additional cost of the Mini Attack Pumper for the Fire Department.

In addition to the Town Meeting, there were two Public Hearings held last night to discuss the Scenic Road request for Rustic Road and the Purchase by the Town of 17.84 acres on West Mountain Rd for the purpose of Open Space.
Several comments were made in support of the land purchase and there were no objections to either proposal.

A Town Meeting is scheduled for December 19th to vote on the Purchase of Land for Open Space.
A separate Town Meeting is scheduled for January 4th to vote on the Scenic Road request.
