Annual Town Meeting Results and Budget Referendum Countdown

The May 1st Annual Town Meeting was full of excitement!

Superintendent Susie Da Silva, First Selectman Rudy Marconi and Board of Finance Chair David Ulmer presented voters with a breakdown of capital budget items under $100,000. Following came a Q&A with the Town officials and finally the vote in which all items were approved. The presentations can be viewed here.

The next and final event of this year’s budget season is the Referendum on Tuesday, May 9th. Voters will have the opportunity to vote on all other budget items between the hours of 6:00am and 8:00pm at Yanity Gym. A sample budget ballot can be found on the town website.

It is important to remember that every vote counts! Budget season is not officially over until after the Referendum so get out and vote, Ridgefield!
