Officer Hawaux, who was a member of Ridgefield Police Department for approximately four years, was sworn in as a Brookfield Police Officer this week.
Brookfield Police wrote on their Facebook Page, "Today, we had the pleasure of swearing in our newest police officer. Officer Terry Hawaux joins us as a lateral transfer from the Ridgefield Police Department."
According to Brookfield Police, Hawaux will be spending the next few weeks on accelerated field training. "He will be getting acquainted with the ins and outs of our amazing town and police department," they said.
