Ridgefield Police Reports: Two DUI Arrests on Ethan Allen Highway

September 21 - At 9:25 p.m., the Ridgefield Police Department received a complaint of erratic operation of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was traveling southbound on Ethan Allen Highway (Route 7). The Ridgefield Police performed a motor vehicle stop and conducted a standardized field sobriety test, which the operator failed. The operator was charged with DUI and was released on a $100.00 bond. She was given a court date of October 5, 2017.

September 22 - The Ridgefield Police Department observed a vehicle being operated erratically on Ethan Allen Highway. Upon being stopped and investigation, the operator, a 28 year old man from Glastonbury, was arrested for operating under the influence. He was processed and released on a $200.00 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on October 6, 2017.
