Message from First Selectman Rudy Marconi: Today is March 8. Currently, outages are down from a high of 1410 to 744. Eversource crews continue to work locally to clear our roads of downed wires. Trees may continue to fall so be vigilant and stay off the roads. The Parks and Recreation Center remains open tonight until 10 pm and will reopen Friday at 6 am for warming, showers and WiFi connections. Parents should monitor their usual sources for school information. Ridgefielders with medical or functional need issues, who require help with sheltering, should call the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531.
