Ridgefield Police Reports: DUIs

June 26 - Police responded to a 2 car motor vehicle accident at the Danbury Road/Copps Hill Road intersection. There were no injuries upon arrival. A 29-year-old man from Ridgefield was traveling south on Danbury Road and made an improper left turn onto Farmingville Road, striking another vehicle. Through police investigation, it was determined that he was operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He was released on a $500.00 cash bond and was given a court date of July 10 at 10:00am at Danbury Superior Court. 

June 30 - At 3:30am, Ridgefield Police officers observed a vehicle in the roadway with the operator asleep behind the wheel. Investigation revealed that the operator was driving under the influence. He was arrested for DUI and released on a $500.00 bond

June 30 - After being stopped on a traffic stop, a 33-year-old man from New Fairfield was arrested for DUI and Failure to Drive Right. He was released on a $250 bond and given a court date of July 17 at 10:00am at Danbury Superior Court.
