Danbury Police have reported that on July 29, 2018, 22-year-old Thomas James Redmond of Ridgefield was arrested after the Rite Aid Pharmacy, located at 113 Mill Plain Rd, reported that he entered the store claiming to have a gun before forcing a pharmacist to open a safe and taking two bottles of amphetamines.

Responding officers were provided with Redmond’s description and informed that he was last seen heading toward the New York border. A short time later, officers found Redmond walking on Saw Mill Rd, in the possession of the stolen items, police say.
