Ridgefield Police Report Stolen Vehicle, Remind Residents to Lock Cars and Remove Keys

Ridgefield Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove the keys.

Police report that a 2019 black Lexus was stolen from a driveway on Old Stagecoach Road during the early morning hours on Tuesday 4/23/19. The Lexus was recovered a short distance away on Hussars Camp Place with minor damage and no property missing from the interior.

Two other reports of vehicles having been entered and rummaged through took place in the Chestnut Hill Road and Ridgebury Road area. There was no missing property in either incident.

"It is important for residents to make locking your vehicle part of your nighttime routine," police say.
