Ridgefield Police Report Local Business Received Counterfeit Money

Ridgefield Police report that on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at about 6:00 pm a local business received a counterfeit $20.00 bill. The incident is under investigation and police say that it appears the bill came from a store in Norwalk.

According to police, in late June Ridgefield Police arrested a New York resident for Forgery 1st degree for passing counterfeit bills.
