The Ridgefield Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time, entry level police officer. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire. A competitive wage and benefit package, as well as a defined contribution pension plan, are offered in accordance with the current labor contract. Potential candidates will be required to complete and successfully pass a written examination, physical agility test, command staff interview, police commission interview, polygraph examination, psychological examination, medical examination, and a thorough background investigation.
