Yesterday, Thursday, February 6 at approximately 1:15 pm, Ridgefield Police responded to the report of a one-car collision at 125 Danbury Road.
The operator of the vehicle, a 79-year-old Ridgefield male, drove into the stone wall in front of Venice Pizza. His sustained injuries and was taken to Danbury Hospital, police say.
According to police, the investigation is still active.
