Ridgefield Police Investigate Incident in Front of Town Hall

Over the weekend, it appears that someone took a rock to the bluestone in front of Town Hall and wrote Trump 2020 and an expletive preceding Biden’s name. The police were called to the scene and the writing has since been taken down.

Ridgefield Police Captain Shawn Platt says that the incident was reported to the Department on 10/4/20 at 1:56 pm as spray-painted graffiti on Town Hall, which turned out to not be spray paint but the words "Trump 2020 - [expletive] Biden" scratched onto the surface of the bluestone (2" X 8") in front of Town Hall.

This incident is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgefield Police at 203-438-6531 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 203-431-2345.
