Ridgefield Police report that Verizon carriers are experiencing issues contacting the police department's 911 system and our main number.
Verizon is aware of the issue and is working to restore service as quickly as possible. This is a problem across the state of Connecticut.
Verizon users should use landlines in the meantime when calling the police department.
