The Ridgefield Police Department is asking all members of the community whether your a Driver or a Pedestrian, to please obey the traffic laws.
The RPD has already responded to over 199 motor vehicle accidents since January 1st 2021. Included in these accidents are one fatality and numerous accidents with injuries.
With warmer weather upon us, we have witnessed an increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout the community. With that said, we have all witnessed erratic driving and near-miss accidents. Our goal is traffic safety for all, so please respect your neighbors, friends and relatives by coming together as a community and obeying the Connecticut State traffic laws.
