Ridgefield Police welcome three new officers to Department

The Ridgefield Police would like to publicly welcome our three newest officers. Officer Roosevelt Theodore, badge #214, Officer Hillard Bloom, badge #215 and Officer Andrew Luis, badge #216.

They were sworn in today by the Town Clerk, Wendy Lionetti at a ceremony held at the Lounsbury House. These three officers were chosen from 91 candidates that applied to be a Ridgefield Police Officer.

They will start the CT Police Academy on June 3rd, which they will attend for approximately six months. They will then start their Field Training Program in Ridgefield, once the academy is completed. We welcome all three officers to our police family and to our great community. We also wish them good luck in the academy, as we look forward to seeing them all soon...
