Ridgefield Police accept invite from RHS senior Briony Sekelsky to be a community Safe Space

The Ridgefield Police Department was asked by Ridgefield High School (RHS) senior Briony Sekelsky to be a location for her new program "SAFE SPACES". We accepted her invitation and are proud to be listed as a Safe Space, within our great community.

What makes the police department a little different from the other locations, is that we're always open...

Safe Spaces are partnerships between the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield and locations in town, to provide safety and aid to youth who feel unsafe and uncomfortable while alone. Locations can be identified by a sticker/decal on a front window.

Each location has a guidance sheet with step-by-step instructions on how to handle common situations that could occur.

Questions about Safe Spaces should be directed to the Keystone Advisor, Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield.
