Ridgefield Police report that on October 4 at approximately 6:45 pm they received a report of a Moter Vehicle Accident on South Salem Road.
Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while attempting to move a fallen tree from the roadway.
According to the press release prepared by Officer Ladue, the pedestrian was transported to Danbury Hospital for evaluation.
The operator of the vehicle was charged with driving too fast for conditions.
