Ridgefield Police report that mail theft is on the rise and ask residents to take heed!
"With checks and cards being sent through the mail for the holidays, we ask that you follow the tips listed in this post," Ridgefield Police say (see image).
Theft incidents were reported to the Department today and involved a black-colored sedan as a suspect vehicle. The sedan was spotted in the northern area of town, according to police.
"As always, if you see something, say something. Don't wait, call the police immediately and help us put an end to this type of activity."
