Meet the newest member of the Ridgefield Police Department, K-9 Odin (badge #222).
He's a 14-month-old Belgian Malinois from Slovakia. Odin (which means "destined for greatness") and his newly appointed K-9 handler, Officer Michael McKnight will start training next month.
After they complete twelve weeks of intense training, K-9 Odin and Ofc. McKnight will be on patrol. We want to welcome Odin to our Department and to the Ridgefield community.
