Coming this fall: Jazz, Funk & Blues Weekend in Ridgefield September 13-16, 2018
The Ridgefield Jazz, Funk & Blues Weekend is a four-day fall event in Ridgefield featuring a talented lineup of jazz, funk, and blues artists who will perform all over town, from an outdoor show at Ballard Park to regional powerhouse Ridgefield Playhouse. The Ridgefield Jazz, Funk & Blues Weekend is Ridgefield's premiere event this September.
The Jazz, Funk & Blues Weekend is a collaboration between the participating venues and the Ridgefield Economic & Community Development Commission.

- Dayramir Gonzalez - performing and Delivering Lecture on Afro-Cuban Music, Friday 9/14 at the Ridgefield Library
- Gil Parris - performing Saturday 9/15 at the Aldrich Contemporary Museum
- Robert Cray - performing Saturday 9/15 at the Ridgefield Playhouse
The organizers, led by the Economic & Community Development Commission, invite you to make the best of it. Restaurants are encouraged to hire jazz bands, create special jazz-themed menus, and offer specials. Other shops are encouraged to have music out front the store. The website provides bands, times, and locations, to help you coordinate your own efforts.
