Amy Pal opened the doors to a brand new hair salon concept called Whip Salon five years ago. An entrepreneur herself, she’s never worked behind the chair as a hairstylist, but instead wanted to create a salon with a hyper-focus on client satisfaction and the clever use of technology to facilitate an exceptionally consistent experience.
Since then she's navigated a pandemic and all the challenges that come with it and says the salon is on track to emerge stronger than ever. “For me it’s hard to believe it’s been five years! I’m so grateful for the resilience of our stylists and the loyalty of our clients to help us weather the pandemic and keep our doors open,” said Pal.
Since Whip Salon opened in October 2016, she's opened an additional location in 2018 in Westport and then developed the concept into a franchise model helping her first franchisee open in Newtown in July 2019. Whip Salon also successfully launched its own brand of products and is known for staying on top of current trends with over 6,000 instagram followers keeping tabs on the work of the squad. They have also won national recognition in Salon Today as part of the Salon 200 in 2019 and 2020 as well as the Top Workplaces in CT award in 2019.
On Friday, October 1st Whip Salon will celebrate its anniversary in the Ridgefield salon. Raffles and giveaways will be part of the celebration including a $100 gift certificate and product basket for lucky clients that visit the salon that day!
