What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?
My practice is about helping the structure of the human body relate better to gravity. Since we have to relate to gravity 24/7/365.25, it is a good investment to make this relationship a supportive and constructive one. Gravity is what can make a building collapse and also what allows a skyscraper to stand so tall. I have been in practice since 2002, in Ridgefield for the past 4 years. In general, the people who benefit most from my services are those with chronic pain and/or a general feeling that “things just aren’t quite right” or “though I can make it through life as I am, I’m sure things could be much better.”
Are there certain individuals or organizations that supported you and your business through this trying time?
During the lockdown, my business was shut down and for a while, I was not sure if I would be able to keep my office. I did not receive the stimulus check or any loans. However, once the lockdown lifted, a number of clients continued their sessions with me and new clients came in, too. I am very grateful for their sincere desire to change for the better, for dealing gracefully with the new, and somewhat uncomfortable, mask-wearing protocol, and for supporting my work by sharing their experiences with others.
It’s business as usual, just with masks, extra hand-washing, and wiping downs doorknobs with wipes. Gravity keeps doing the same thing during a COVID crisis as it does when there is no crisis, so the work is just as effective and useful!
