Little Hats, Big Hearts at Greenwich Hospital
Greenwich Hospital is celebrating American Heart Month with the American Heart Association’s Little Hats, Big Hearts campaign to raise awareness about heart disease, including congenital heart defects in babies.
All babies born at Greenwich Hospital in February will receive red hats knitted by volunteers involved in the national campaign. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in America.
Sporting red knit hats are Sean Vazquez of the Bronx, NY, gazing up at his mom, Margaret, along with Elias Estrada, of New Rochelle, NY, held by Delphine Carson, RN, from Greenwich Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Other members of the hospital’s NICU team are (l-r) Annie Gallagher, Modestus Lee, MD, Kathy Barto, RN and Benjamin Tsang, MD.
