Seniors age 60+ can get vouchers [checks] for farm-fresh items at Bedford Hills Train Station on Monday, August 2 and Thursday, August 12 from 2 to 4pm.
There is no application process. Just show proof of age and sign a state meant that your income does not exceed:
1 in household - $1986/month
2 in household - $2686/month
The program is designed to support both farmers and seniors and is brought to you by Town of Bedford Recreation Department, Wetchester County Senior Programs and Services and the NYS Dept. of Agriculture.
Seniors will be given checks which can be used as money at participating Farmers' Markets.
