Fall Party Trends

With back to school events filling on our minds and calendars, Rye HamletHub recently sought the insight of local party planner, Julie Ontaneda, of My Classic Party, LLC, about this year's fabulous fall party trends!

So, if you're planning a party this fall (or even if you're not) read on, and be inspired by Julie's creative genius!  Happy Fall!

While themes like "Frozen" and pirates continue to be popular, just changing the time of day of the party can set the tone for a really different and fun event. Breakfast parties like "Pancakes and Pajamas" and evening movie parties or pretend sleepover parties are growing in popularity.

Food and Drink

Food bars - the burger bars and ice cream bars which are very popular this summer will turn into popcorn bars, chili bars, taco bars, even doughnut bars!

Mason jars - continue to be a party staple for drinks, but are also now being used to jazz up desserts.

Signature Party Drink - Hot cider anyone? Whether its for the adults who are waiting or the children at the party, a fancy drink makes for a festive party - always have one!

Bright colors of the summer will continue to be popular in the fall. Gold accents are a great compliment to these bold colors or to more neutral color palettes also.

Football & Soccer parties are a great way to keep kids entertained in the fall.

Jewelry Making & Art parties are a great option for the girls. While the weather is still warm out, take advantage of having these outdoor parties in your own back yard!
