Peak Fares To Return On Peak Metro-North Trains

Starting Tuesday, March 1, 2022, peak fares will return on peak Metro-North trains (MNRR).

MNRR is also launching new and discounted ways for you to pay your fare! 

Monthly ticket holders: Starting February 25, you will also receive 10 percent off your ticket cost. Depending on where you travel, you can save up to 61 percent off one-way peak travel! 

Metro North will have a new option for their semi-monthly riders as well: Their new 20-trip ticket can save you 20 percent on regular peak fare prices. Find the new 20 trip ticket on MTA eTix starting February 25 or at a ticket window near you starting March 1. 

Traveling only within New York City limits? MNRR has got you covered. Starting February 25, CityTicket will also offer $5 weekday off-peak fares when you ride with MNRR the same day you purchase your ticket.
