On Thursday, April 11, The Acceleration Project (TAP) will host its inaugural “Spring for Small Business” benefit to support its efforts to fuel small business growth in the New York metropolitan area and beyond. The event will be held at The Helm, 230 Park Avenue, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and tickets are $300 per person.
“We are thrilled to invite our donors, corporate partners and the public to our first benefit to support TAP’s work in keeping small businesses thriving. With an emphasis on advising underserved businesses, TAP mobilizes women professionals to make a meaningful impact in their communities while continuing their career development,” said Jane Veron, CEO of TAP.
The benefit is made possible with the support of “Groundbreaker” sponsors Blue Mountain Capital Management, LLC, Lowenstein Sandler LLP, The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., and RXR Realty LLC; and “Visionary” sponsors Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Barclays PLC, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Latham & Watkins, LLP, and Purrington Moody Weil LLP.
“We would like to extend our gratitude to our sponsors for partnering with us to strengthen local economies and helping us to grow our consulting services in both scope and scale,” said Veron. “TAP is a nonprofit organization funded by contributions from corporations, as well as private individuals, foundations and grants. The generosity of our donors enables us to deploy a growing number of professionals to serve unmet demand, particularly in areas where access to high caliber services are otherwise unaffordable.”
